Independence Day Commemoration
This year’s 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) is different from previous years, as it coincides with the moment of welcoming the new capital, Nusantara. It is hoped to inspire a new spirit across the entire Indonesian nation.

With the theme “New Archipelago, Advanced Indonesia,” the visual identity of the 79th Independence Day reflects the need for a new, grand spirit with unity and equality to achieve all goals. In this new struggle, the country remains committed to noble values while respecting natural and cultural heritage.

On this historic occasion, all employees of the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) Bantul Regency participated in the Independence Day celebrations with various competitions and held the 79th RI Anniversary Ceremony in traditional Nusantara attire.
