2024 Quarterly SHKK Officer Briefing

Tuesday (22/10) The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) of Bantul Regency held a briefing for officers from the 2024 Quarterly Construction Cost Survey (SHKK). The briefing in the Meeting Room on the 2nd Floor of BPS Bantul, was opened by Dedi Cahyono, Head of BPS Bantul Regency.

The 2024 Quarterly SHKK data collection aims to collect price data which is a component in calculating the Construction Cost Index (IKK), namely building materials, heavy equipment rental and wages for construction services.

IKK is used as a proxy to measure the level of expensive building construction in an area. The higher the IKK number in an area, the higher the costs required to construct a building in that area. IKK is also one of the components used to calculate a region's General Allocation Fund (DAU).
