Training for 2026 NTP SPDT Officers

The last SPDT NTP was conducted back in 2017! After nearly a decade, updated data on the income and expenditure structure of farming households is needed to ensure that the calculation of the Farmers’ Price Index (NTP) is more accurate, up-to-date, and capable of reflecting the current conditions of farmers.

 The NTP is a key indicator for assessing purchasing power and tracking the economic progress of farmers. Through the 2026 SPDT NTP, the BPS aims to provide higher-quality agricultural data to serve as a foundation for supporting agricultural sector development planning.

 In preparation for the survey, the Training for Bantul Regency NTP SPDT Field Staff was held on September 24–25, 2026, at the Grand Rohan Jogja. The event began with opening remarks by the Acting Head of the BPS for the Special Region of Yogyakarta, Endang Tri Wahyuningsih, accompanied by the Head of the Bantul Regency BPS, Agung Wibowo.

 The training was conducted in person to brief the officers on survey methodology, data collection procedures, and the mechanisms for conducting data collection in the field.

Through this training, it is hoped that NTP SPDT officers will develop a solid understanding, competence, and integrity, enabling them to produce objective, consistent, and high-quality data to support agricultural development in Bantul Regency.
