October 5 is celebrated as World Teachers' Day. This commemoration has been celebrated since 1994, organized by UNESCO. This year's commemoration carries the theme "Valuing teacher voices: Towards a new social contract for education" which means "Valuing teacher voices: Towards a new social contract for education" which emphasizes the important role of teachers in supporting the future of education.
