National Museum Day 2024

National Museum Day is set for October 12. This determination was passed during the Indonesian Museum Conference (MMI) in 2015. This determination was based on the first MMI (12-14 October 1962) in Yogyakarta, because it issued 10 resolutions which had important value for advancing museums in Indonesia.

#SedulurData, National Museum Day is celebrated to increase our awareness of the importance of museums as guardians of culture, preserving works of art and cultural heritage from various time periods, as well as being learning spaces and sources of knowledge.
