Do you know how many students there are in Bantul Regency?

Data available at data.bantukab.go.id shows that there are currently 7,198 female students in Bantul Regency. They are spread out to study religion in 98 Islamic boarding schools, both traditional and modern.

National Santri Day was established to honor the role of santri and Islamic boarding schools in the history of the struggle to defend the independence of the Indonesian nation. National Santri Day is also a momentum to strengthen Islamic brotherhood and its role in forging morals and educating people's lives.

The theme for the 2024 Santri Day commemoration is 'Continuing the Fight to Embrace the Future'. Has deep meaning and is relevant to today's life. The ranks of Islamic students no longer take up arms, but struggle to face the challenges of the times with the noble values of Islam, embracing the future with enthusiasm and courage.
