World Meteorological Day 2025

The specialized body in the field of Meteorology under the auspices of the United Nations called the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) was formed on March 23, 1950. WMO is an intergovernmental organization with a membership of 186 member countries and 6 member territories. Indonesia became a member of WMO on November 16, 1950.

The theme of World Meteorological Day 2025 is "Together closing the early warning gap", this theme reflects the real and unignorable threat of climate change, with visible impacts and the potential for major disasters if not addressed immediately.

We all have a role in dealing with the negative impacts of climate change such as reducing waste by sorting waste, using environmentally friendly products, planting trees. #SedulurData, let's protect our earth.
